Payment Methods & VAT

What you can pay with, why a credit pack costs the same everywhere, and where the promo code goes.

Accepted payment methods

All major credit cards, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device offers them, processed through Stripe. The payment itself happens on Stripe's own page — VyroAI never sees or stores your card details, so there is nothing on our side to delete afterwards.

VAT on a credit pack: the price you see is the price you pay

Prices on the Pricing page are shown including 21% VAT. For a credit pack that figure is final, for everyone: the VAT is already inside it, so you pay the same amount in the Netherlands, elsewhere in the EU, outside the EU, and as a business that enters a VAT number. The line under each pack says The price shown is the price you pay, wherever you are, and the home page says the same.

Only the share of that price that is tax changes with where you live. The 21% is the Dutch rate, because VyroAI is registered in the Netherlands; another EU country has its own rate, taken out of the same total.

VAT on a subscription: adjusted at checkout

Subscriptions still work the old way. The card shows the Dutch figure, and outside the EU, and for businesses that enter a VAT number, the amount is adjusted at checkout — the line under each subscription card says so. Another EU country has its own rate worked out on the Stripe page, so a plan's total there can differ by a few percent either way. The figure on the Stripe page is always the one that leaves your account.

Every buyer types a billing address

The Stripe page asks every buyer for a billing address, on a phone as much as on a computer. That address is what the tax is worked out from. If you have bought before, the address you type now is the one used, and it replaces the one saved from last time.

Buying as a business

The checkout page has a field for a VAT number. Enter a valid EU one from outside the Netherlands and the reverse-charge rule applies, so no VAT is charged. On a credit pack that does not change the amount: you still pay the printed price, with no VAT inside it. On a subscription you pay the net amount, which is the price on the card without the 21%. (A Dutch business still pays the 21%: reverse charge is for buying across a border.) Leave the field empty and you are taxed at the ordinary rate for your country.

The invoice in Profile → Billing shows what you paid and nothing more: a subtotal, a VAT line only when VAT was charged, and the total. It does not print the words reverse charge or your VAT number.

Promo codes

Codes are entered on the Stripe checkout page, not on the Pricing page — look for Add promotion code beside the order summary. The discount comes off before tax. The invoice in Profile → Billing shows the amount after it — there is no separate discount line.

Every payment produces an invoice, with the VAT on its own line whenever VAT was charged. See Billing & Invoices for how to open them.
