Click the credit number in the top bar: what you spent today and this week, what things cost, and the ways to earn free credits.
Your balance sits in a pill in the top bar. The pill has two halves: Buy goes straight to the Pricing page, and the number itself opens a panel.
A small green dot on the pill means there are credits waiting for you to claim.
Right after a page opens, the pill shows a dash (—) instead of a number until your balance has been read. A dash means not known yet, not zero.
If the read fails, the pill keeps the dash and adds Retry: press it to read the balance again. The panel does not open while the balance is unknown, because every number in it would be unknown too.
The Image Creator, the Video Studio and the Plan step of a new Code Studio project also show your balance beside the price. While it loads, that spot is a grey shimmering bar; if the read fails, it says Couldn't check your balance with a Retry button. Neither means you have 0 credits, and the Generate button does not say Not enough credits until the real number is in. Press Generate too early and you see Still checking your balance. Try again in a second.
The panel is a quick look. Profile → Usage has the full breakdown over 7 days, 30 days or all time.
