The Check your inbox card after an email sign-up: the link, the 60-second Resend button, fixing a typo, and the one reminder we send.
Sign up with an email address and a password and the form does not open the app. It turns into a card headed Check your inbox:
> We sent a confirmation link to [email protected]. Open it to finish creating your account.
The address is printed in full so a typo is visible before you go hunting through your inbox. The account exists from that moment, but signing in with it does not work until the link in that email has been pressed.
This step belongs to email sign-ups. Google and Discord have already checked the address, so those two go straight in.
The button counts down before it works — Resend email in 42s — because signing up has just sent one email and the mail server refuses a second one to the same address inside about a minute. Pressing sooner would only fail, so the button waits for you.
Whatever happens next is reported as it happened; a refusal is never dressed up as a send:
Two links sit at the bottom of the card:
If the address is still unconfirmed an hour after you signed up, one reminder goes out — titled Confirm your email to start building on VyroAI, with a Confirm my email button. The email says what the button does: it "works for 24 hours and replaces the link in our first email". So always use the newest email you have; the older link stops working.
It is the only reminder. It also says "Didn't create an account? Ignore this email" — nothing is switched on unless somebody presses the button.
Nothing at all after the resend and the reminder? Check the address on the card once more and use Change email — a single wrong letter is by far the commonest cause. If the address is right, When You Cannot Get In has the next steps.
