Asking the Community to Fix Your Project

Community → Help: post a question about one of your projects, get fixes from other builders, and mark the one that worked.

Asking straight from a project

You do not have to start on the board. On the Projects page the ⋯ menu of any project card carries Ask community for help, and that opens the same form with the project already chosen — headed About "your project", with no chooser to work through.

It asks for a one-line Problem title (100 characters), What's happening?, and two optional boxes: the error message and a code snippet. Only what you paste is shared, never your whole project, and a red line above the form says so.

Every box is read for secrets as you type. A bot token, an API key or a database password puts an amber warning under that box and holds Post question shut until it is gone — so a question cannot leak the thing it is asking about. Posting takes you straight to the question, and it costs nothing.

Where it is

The help board is the Forum tab of the Community page, and every question also has its own address under /community/help. Since 20 September 2026 the Forum tab is the way in — the old Community → Help sidebar row is gone, and the tab adds a filter by tool that the old list did not have. It is for signed-in members only: signed out, you are asked to sign in first.

It lists everyone's questions that are not closed, newest first. On the Forum tab, three controls narrow the list: a row of tool chips with All tools first; the views Newest, Unanswered and Fixed; and a search box that looks through the title, the description and the error text. The older list at /community/help still works and keeps its own filters: Open, Solved or All, and Everything, Minecraft plugin or Discord bot. The questions you asked yourself, closed ones included, are under Your questions in the Community sidebar.

Two ways to ask

You can only ask about a project of your own, so you need at least one. The Minecraft plugin or Discord bot label comes from the project; you never pick it.

What the form asks for

Post question switches on once a project is picked and the title and the description are filled in. While it saves the button reads Posting…; then Question posted appears and your question opens on its own page. Cancel closes without saving.

Everything you post is public to VyroAI users

Only what you paste is shared — never your whole project. But what you paste can be read by any signed-in member.

The form checks every box for bot tokens, API keys and database passwords. When it finds one it says so under that box, and Post question stays locked until you take it out. The reply box runs the same check. Do not rely on the check alone: remove secrets before you paste.

Replies, votes and the fix

Any signed-in member can reply to a question that is not closed. Put code between two lines of three backticks and it shows as a code block, with a Copy code button under the reply.

Replies are listed with the accepted fix first, then by votes.

Nobody emails you about replies

There is no email when someone answers. Open Your questions in the Community sidebar to see new replies.

The views number on a question goes up once per visitor per browser session, and your own visits to your own question never count.

If the board does not load

If the list shows Couldn't load help questions, nothing is lost — try again in a moment. If it keeps happening, use the other ways to get help:
