Creator Settings
Set your author name once in Profile → Preferences → Creator so it ships inside your projects, see what the Discord and website fields are used for, and choose what gets auto-generated.
Where it is
Profile → Preferences → Creator. It is worth a proper read, because the author name at the top of it ends up inside the projects you release.
Creator identity
Four fields:
- Default Author Name — your name or studio name
- Discord Username — for support and contact details
- Discord Server — a link to your support server
- Website — your own site
Only the Default Author Name goes into your projects: it fills in the author of a project. Discord Server and Website are only used when VyroAI writes a BuiltByBit description for you, and Discord Username is saved but not used anywhere yet. Fill the author name in once, early: an empty or wrong author name is the kind of thing you notice after the release, not before.
Auto-generate switches
Three things VyroAI can make for you automatically when a project is finished:
- Project image — an icon for the project
- Description — the summary shown on its page
- BuiltByBit description — the same thing formatted for BuiltByBit
Each one costs credits when it runs, which is why they are switches rather than always on.
Looking for the build chime?
It is not on this tab. There are two doors to it, and both change the same account-wide setting:
- Profile → Preferences → General → Device notifications — the switch called Build finished, beside the login-attempt notification.
- Project Settings → Editor, inside a project — the switch called Play sound when generation completes, marked (global) because it is one setting for your whole account, not per project.
Flip it in either place and it changes everywhere.
Where did the image and video defaults go?
They moved into the tools themselves. Open the Image Creator or Video Studio and click the gear button next to Wizard: set style, quality, format, duration or aspect ratio there, and flip "Remember as my defaults" to keep those choices for next time.
The length you save decides part of the price
The length you save as your default decides part of the price of every video. It does not pick the model: the model you choose sets which lengths are on offer, and the length sets the price.
There are only two lists, because the video service makes only two: Veo 3.1 makes 4, 6 or 8 seconds, and every other model — Gen-4 Turbo, Gen-3 Turbo, Sora 2 — makes 5 or 10 seconds. Since 19 September 2026 every picker in the app is filtered to that list, so the length you choose is the length that is made and the price you are shown is the price you pay.
Before that date the wizard offered Gen-4 Turbo every whole second from 2 to 10 while the service rounded it up, so someone who picked 3 seconds was given, and charged for, 5. That cannot happen now. Read Video Studio — Overview before saving a default.
