Theme Customization

Change VyroAI.vip's accent, background, sidebar, button and text colours with VyroAI+, start from a preset, and why the Background tab stays free for all.

Custom Themes

VyroAI+ subscribers can fully customize the platform's appearance:

How to Access

Go to Profile → Preferences → Appearance. The page opens for everyone and has three sub-tabs — Theme & Colors, Background and Identity — but the custom colour builder itself needs an active VyroAI+ subscription. Changes apply instantly, and normally they follow you to your other devices.

When the sync is blocked, the theme is this browser only

Saving a theme writes it to your account, which is what makes it appear on your other devices. That write can be refused by our server, and when it is, VyroAI tells you: "Theme saved locally, but VPS theme sync is blocked by database permissions." after a save, or "Theme sync is blocked by your VPS permissions. Local theme cache is still active." when the page loads.

Nothing is lost and your look is still applied — but it is applied in this browser only, and VyroAI stops trying to sync for the rest of that session. There is nothing to switch on at your end; it is our side.

The way round it is the Export & import card further down the same Appearance page: Export theme saves your colours and background to a file, and Import theme reads that file back in on the other computer.

The Background tab is free — it is not part of this

Because it sits on the same page as the paid colour builder, people assume the whole screen is a VyroAI+ feature. It is not. Profile → Preferences → Appearance → Background is open to every account, subscription or not: pick a background, and the app looks different straight away.

What needs VyroAI+ is the colour side — accent, sidebar, buttons, text and the presets. If all you wanted was a different backdrop, you already have it.

Share it, or wear someone else's

Happy with what you built? Give it a name on that same Appearance page and share it to the community — it then appears under Themes on the Community page for everyone to see, and any VyroAI+ member can put it on with one click. See Community Themes.

Export a theme to a file, and import one back

A theme can also be saved as a file. Export downloads your colours and your background as a small theme file; Import reads one back in. It is how you move a look between accounts, keep a backup before experimenting, or send a theme to someone privately instead of publishing it.

The file carries colours + background — the same two things the app's own card names. Your button style is not part of it: an imported theme keeps whatever button style you already had. And never your logo or anything else about your account.

There is a second, smaller export inside the Theme Studio

The Export & import card described above is not the only one. The Theme Studio panel on the same tab has its own small download icon in its header, and it opens a little Export Theme popover with two tick boxes — App colors and Editor colors (marked V+) — and an Export as .json button. Both boxes start ticked, and you cannot press the button with both unticked.

That file is the narrower one: it saves the colours you ticked and not your background, and it downloads as vyro-theme.json. Use the card's Export theme when you want your whole look; use this one when you only want to pass on the editor colours.

Importing without VyroAI+ gets you the background only

Anyone can import a theme file, but only the background is applied without an active VyroAI+ subscription — the colours are skipped, and the app says so: "Custom themes are a VyroAI+ feature — background applied only."

So a theme someone sends you will look wrong rather than broken. Subscribe and import it again to get the rest.
