Reporting Content

How to report a public project for spam, NSFW, malware or copyright, what happens to the report next, and what to do on pages with no Report button.

How to report something

Public project pages have a Report button: it lets you pick the reason that fits and add anything useful in the box. The reasons to pick from:

Pages without a Report button

Arcade game pages and public profiles have no Report button yet. If something there breaks the rules, send it through the contact form on the Support page with the link — it reaches the same people.

What happens next

Press Submit report and you see Report submitted with Thanks — our moderators will review it. The report goes into the moderation queue. Reporting the same project twice counts once. A report is refused for your own project, for a project that is not public, and after 10 reports from you in one hour.

You will not get a case number or a running commentary. What you will see, if the report is upheld, is the project disappearing from the community.

What a reported creator sees

If something you published breaks the rules, it is removed and you get a warning, which appears under Profile → Alerts and tells you what was wrong. Repeated or serious violations end the account.

Report things that break the Community & Publishing Rules, not things you dislike. Reporting a rival's project because it competes with yours is itself a misuse, and it is visible to the people reviewing it.
