Your invite link: where it is, what it pays each of you, and the plain reason when an invite is linked but adds no credits.
Your invite link lives on the Pricing page, in the Earn free credits panel — press Open the earn panel in the quiet band under the prices to unfold it. The Invite friends tile holds Copy link and Share.
The tile also says what an invite pays today: +… credits for you, +… for your friend, then how many people you have invited. Those amounts are read live, so the tile is the figure to trust, not a number written down anywhere else. Once you have invited at least one person, a second line appears: … credits earned from invites so far, counted from your credit history rather than guessed from the count — so it can read 0 while no invite has paid yet.
Your friend opens your link and makes an account. The invite is applied once, as soon as their account exists — it does not wait for them to build or buy anything, and it never pays twice for the same person.
It is a one-off reward on each side, not a share of what they spend later. When your side is paid, a notification tells you. Their side is a single message on their screen, and the table below is the whole list of what it can say.
| The message | What it means |
|---|---|
| *Invite applied: N free credits were added to your balance.* | It worked. The credits are already in their balance. |
| *Your friend's invite is linked. Invites don't include credits for new accounts right now.* | The invite counted for you, but the new-account half of the reward is set to nothing at the moment. |
| *…but no credits were added: invite rewards are switched off right now.* | Invites pay nobody while that is the case. |
| *…but no credits were added: invites have no reward set right now.* | The same thing from the other side: there is no amount to pay. |
| *…but no credits were added: your friend has reached the limit of invites that pay.* | The inviter is past the cap. Beyond it **neither** side is paid. |
| *…but no credits were added: free credits are on hold for this account.* | The new account's free credits are being held back — see **Why Are My Credits on Hold?** |
| *That invite link isn't valid any more, so no invite was applied.* | The code in the link was not recognised. Send them a fresh link. |
| *You can't use your own invite link.* | Nothing happens: an invite has to come from somebody else. |
Instead of the amounts, the tile can read Invite rewards are off right now, so invites don't add credits, or You've reached the invite limit, so new invites don't add credits.
The link still works and people who use it still count as invited — it simply pays nothing while that line is showing, to you or to them. An invite that came in during that time is not paid later when rewards come back on.
Share writes the message for you, and it only mentions credits when an invite can really pay: Join me on VyroAI — we can both claim free credits! when both halves pay, Join me on VyroAI — you can claim free credits when you sign up! when only your friend's half does, and a plain Join me on VyroAI! when your friend would get nothing. On a device without a share menu — many desktop browsers — Share just copies the link, with no message. That is deliberate — the message goes into your group chat, and it is you who looks wrong if the credits never arrive.
