Finding other people's projects — the grouped view, search, filters, and the three ways to sort.
The Community page is public: you can look through it before you have an account. It is the shop window for everything people have published — plugins, mods, bots, datapacks and the rest.
Finding it again used to be the awkward part, because the header you see once you are signed in has no Community link. Since 26 Aug 2026 it has a permanent home: Community sits in the bottom block of the sidebar, beside Skills and Help & Wiki. There is also the link in the footer, or simply /community. The dashboard tile that older guides mention is gone — the home screen lost its three link cards in the same change. The link in the header only exists on the public, signed-out pages.
The box reads Search projects, creators and tags…, and typing into it matches a project's name, its description, its tags and the name of the creator, so a search for economy finds the plugins that describe themselves that way even when the word is not in the title. It searches only what is on screen in the current view — clear the type filter if you want the widest net.
The page opens grouped by type: each studio gets its own shelf of up to eight projects under a heading, with no page numbers. The Group by control next to the filters offers three views — By type (the one you land on), By creator, which shelves everything under the person who made it, and Flat list, one long run of everything. That flat view is where sorting really comes into its own, and it is the only view where the most-viewed project wears the #1 this week badge on the first card.
Beside the sort control is a filter for the type of project — plugins, mods, bots, datapacks, configs and so on — with the number of projects of each type shown next to it, so you can see what is worth opening before you pick. Choosing a type, searching, or changing the sort always takes you back to the first page of results.
Community is five views, not one. On a computer they are the sidebar on the left; on a phone the same five are tappable chips under the page title, because a sidebar you have to open first hid them completely.
Each has its own article: The Community Forum, The Marketplace, Community Skills and Community Themes. Published games no longer have a view of their own — they sit with everything else on Projects, behind the Game chip in the type row.
If you are hunting for something specific, a search term beats scrolling the shelves — and if a project you saw yesterday has vanished from the front, it has usually just been pushed down the list rather than removed.
